October TBR.

I think I’m going to start doing a TBR every month now. I’ve found out that if I share my TBR I’m more likely to read the books. I don’t really have an order that I’ll read them in yet but See Me and Stray have to be read first because they were sent to me for review.

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra ClareI started rereading The Mortal Instruments earlier this year but stopped when I got to City of Fallen Angels. I don’t know why. I just got so far into the series and then stopped. But I really need to get back into them so I can reread this and City of Lost Souls then finally start City of Heavenly Fire.

See Me by Nicholas Sparks – I was sent a copy of this last weekend by Hachette New Zealand to review. I can’t have my review up on my blog till the book is out in New Zealand, which is the 13th of this month if I remember correctly, so I’ll be reading it next but the review won’t be up straight away. I haven’t read a Nicholas Sparks book since The Longest Ride (and still haven’t seen the movie) so I’m looking forward to this one.

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas – Another reread. Last month I decided to reread the Throne of Glass series before I pick up Queen of Shadows. This month I’ll be reading Crown of Midnight at some point. It’ll depend on my mood after I finish See Me and Stray.

Stray by Rachael Craw – I was sent a copy of this from Walker Books Australia for review. I read Spark last month and loved it so I’m excited to see what happens in this book. I’ll be reading this after I finish See Me.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins – With Mockingjay Part 2 coming out next month I decided to reread the trilogy. Hopefully I’ll get Catching Fire and Mockingjay read before I see the movie. I should have read them earlier in the year but too late now.

I also go some library books this week but I don’t know if I’ll be able to get them all read. I can renew them online, which I might have to do. We’ll see. I’m also supposed to join in a Game of Throne read-a-long on Instagram and Twitter. We’re up to A Storm of Swords but my copy is in two books so I don’t think I be able to fit that into this month. I might have to get an audiobook, if I can find one.

So that’s my TBR for the month. Unless I get more books in the mail to review. I’m not sure if I will be but if I do then the library books will be pushed back. What’s on you TBR for October? Leave me a comment and let me know.

      • No one in my life seems to understand that! They’re like “Why did you get so many” and I’m like “They’ve been on request for weeks, it’s not my fault they all turn up at the same time.” I’ve only read a few of her books so I hope I’ll like these.

      • Seriously, it’s either feast or famine. I hope you like them! The four you have are among my favorites of hers. I feel like This Lullaby is really the book that put her on the map, but Someone Like You is great too. Saint Anything is probably my second or third favorite from her. Lock and Key I’ve only read once, but I do remember liking it. I know you didn’t ask for my opinion, but I hope you find it helpful regardless 😉

I really enjoyed the Mortal Instruments. Though, I really did dislike City of Fallen Angels. I like your TBR pile for October!
